This July, DeepChain lead, Nicolás Lopez Carranza, was invited to speak at this year’s IA Congreso (AI Congress) – the premier event for AI in Latin America. Representing InstaDeep, Nicolás presented on the topic of “AI-first Protein Design”, as part of a top line up of experienced AI professionals from the region and beyond.
The event sought to address challenges such as the environment, education, health and sustainability using AI, with delegates and speakers discussing advances in AI and Machine Learning technology, and the impacts these developments are having on businesses and consumers.
Delegates at the event came from a diverse range of backgrounds – IT decision makers, developers and designers, chief innovation officers, data managers, data scientists, data analysts, and many more. This diversity ensured a wide range of input and perspectives on the challenges and opportunities being considered.
